Description: The webinar was organized for students, parents and guardians, who want to know about the changing scenario and need of professional courses to meet industry demand. The objective of the webinar was to provide them knowledge about the safe learning modes to continue a hassle free career growth during and post Pandemic. The speaker of the session was CA Yash Dhadda (GST Expert and Motivational Speaker). Total 180 participants attended the webinar.

The activity was conducted using Zoom Platform and the moderator of Webinar was Dr. Shweta Gupta, Associate Professor, IIS (deemed to be University), Jaipur. The webinar was started at 11.30 a.m. and ended with query session at 1.30 pm. The speaker highlighted the benefits of pursuing a professional degree in the career. The speaker motivated the students to take a step ahead to explore various career opputunities not only in india as well as globally.
Outcome of the activity: It was a great learning experience for the participants and it cleared their doubts regarding the various career opportunities they can undertake after 12th.

Objective of the Webinar:Creating awareness about significance of pursuing a job oriented global qualification with specific reference to ACCA
Summary
Today, the global job market is changing at an alarming rate and so Global education has become a necessity for the 21st century learner. Keeping this in mind, a webinar was organized by IIS University in association with ACCA and ISDC, to throw light on significance of pursuing a job oriented global qualification along with graduation.
The webinar began with welcome of all the panel members by DrMonty Kanodia, Head, Deptt of Accounting &Taxation. The panelists were:

First of all, Mr. Vikas Khosla (Zonal Head ISDC), shared a presentation on “Relevance of ACCA as a Qualification”. Mr Vikas Khosla, with overall Experience of 13 years has worked with Some of the prestigious Companies like American Express, Educomp Solutions, Miles Education and Currently associated with International Skill Development Corporation. He was followed by Mr. Prabhanshu Mittal (Senior Business Relationship Manager ACCA) who informed the participants about “ACCA as a Professional Body”.He also threw light on employment and job opportunities for an ACCA.
Next speaker was Mr. Anurag Rana (Business Relationship Manager ACCA), who spoke about “Roadmap to ACCA membership”. Anurag Rana is Responsible for ACCA's business development in the North India Market, working closely with the Large Enterprises and Education providers in the regions.
Further, Dr Mahima Rai, shared a brief presentation, highlighting the advantages of pursuing ACCA programme from the IIS University. She also shared achievements of students of our University in the ACCA exams and their impressive placements. In the end, Jhanvi Solanki was invited to share her journey from IIS to EY. Jhanvi is our Alumna of batch 2016-19 of the ACCA programme. She completed her graduation in B.Com H Applied Accounting and Finance in 2019 and is presently working as Lead Assurance Associate in Earnst& Young, Gurgaon.
Questions were taken up after this and were satisfactorily answered by all the panel members

Outcome of the activity:Increase in awareness about ACCA programme offered by IIS University among the participants and increase in queries for admission to this programme.

Description: The webinar was organized for students, parents and guardians, who want to know about the changing scenario and need of professional courses to meet industry demand. The objective of the webinar was to provide them knowledge about the safe learning modes to continue a hassle free career growth during and post Pandemic. The speaker of the session was CA Ankit Jain (Past Chairman, ICAI Jaipur Chapter and CS Anshul Jain (Past Chairman, ICSI Jaipur Chapter). Total 100 participants attended the webinar.

The activity was conducted using Zoom Platform and the moderator of Webinar was CS Surabhi Ajmera, Assistant Professor, IIS (deemed to be University), Jaipur. The webinar was started at 10.30 a.m. and ended with query session at 12.00 pm. The speakers highlighted the benefits of pursuing a Chartered Accountant Course and Company Secretary Course. They highlighted the key benefits of having a professional degree in today’s world. The speakers motivated the students to take a step ahead to explore various career opportunities not only in India as well as globally.
Two Alumnae of IIS (deemed to be University), Jaipur were also called to share their experience. CA Preksha Sharma (E&Y) who was student of B. Com Hons Proficiency in Chartered Accounting shared her journey from IISU to E&Y where she was working. CS Daksha Khanna who has recently cleared her CS Professional by pursuing B. Com Hons Proficiency in Company Secretaryship from IISU shared how she was able to complete her course in first attempt.
Outcome of the activity: It was a great learning experience for the participants and it cleared their doubts regarding the various career opportunities they can undertake after 12th.

Orientation 2022-23

The Department of Commerce, at the IIS (deemed to be University) organized an orientation session for the first year students of B.Com (Hons/Pass Course & Professional) and M.Com. The session was held at Ojas Hall on 7 September 2022 from 10:30 a.m onwards. It was initiated by Dr. Aditi Jain- Add. Head, Department of Business Studies. She acquainted the freshers with the courses and programmes offered by the department at the UG, PG, COSD and research levels.
The students were then introduced to the faculty members of the department and familiarised with the location of their classrooms. The freshers paid rapt attention and were inquisitive to know about the various training programmes, industrial visits and the rich & vast alumnae network.
The Head of Library, then acquainted students about the IISU Central Library. She made the freshers conversant with the various resources, the library offers from IISU Digital Library to NDL and other library memberships.
The session was concluded by the students enthusiastically participating in the fun activities organised by the faculty members and senior students. The fresher’s were also excited on winning prizes of the fun activities.

CSEET Results

The IIS (deemed to be University) congratulates Ms Bhumika Vashistha, student of B.Com Hons Proficiency in Company Secretaryship offered by Department of Accounting and Taxation, on clearing her CS Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) held in May 2022. The University wishes her good luck and more success in her upcoming higher level exams.

CA Inter Results

The IIS (Deemed to be University, Jaipur, takes pride in announcing the results of its students of B.Com (Hons) Proficiency in Chartered Accounting Course. Ms. Aditi Jain (Batch 2018-21) and Sheeya Kejriwal (Batch 2020-23) have cleared their CA Inter Exams. Ms. Noopur Mundra and Ms. Chetna Chitlangia of Batch 2019-22 have cleared their second group and entered into CA Final. The University congratulates and wishes them for their future success.

CS Professional Results

The IIS (deemed to be University), Jaipur congratulates its alumnae of B.Com Hons. Proficiency in Company Secretaryship, Ms. Tanisha Vijay, Ms. Sanskrati Jain, Ms. Divya Bhateja and Ms. Nayan Jethwani for clearing their CS Professional Exam.
