“Carving a future with an Integrated Programme”

It has been a constant endeavour of IIS (Deemed to be University) to acquaint its students with the contemporary skill sets required in their respective fields and assist them in making smart career choices. In accordance with this principle, the University in association with ISDC organized an hour long on webinar on 22^nd October 2020 from 2pm -  3pm for all the Sem – I Commerce students on “Carving a Future with an Integrated Programme”.

Mr. Vikas Khosla, zonal head ISDC and Ms. Ritu Bhagwandas Murjani, an alumni of IIS Deemed to be University, constructed the esteemed panel and were given an introductory welcome by Ms. Mitali Gupta (Senior Assistant Professor). Mr. Khosla, after the introductory welcome, displayed a presentation about the ins and outs of the ACCA professional course. The students were informed about the benefits of pursuing the same from the IIS University and were assured about the professional assistance from the qualified staff of the University.

During the second half of the webinar, Ms.Ritu Bhagwandas Murjani, currently working in E&Y, shared her experience as a qualified ACCA professional, giving all the credit of her success to IIS.  She provided current aspirants with valuable tips on how to keep up with the current news of financial world. A lot many questions were also put up for her during her session which she answered patiently. 

 Mr. Khosla ended the webinar by emphasizing on the importance of developing specific skill sets for professional excellence followed by Ms. Mitali thanking the panelists for their time and efforts. 

The conduct and relevance to nurture and encourage new aspirants to the ACCA programme through the webinar was greatly appreciated by all participant, we do look forward to having such webinars with different professionals too in future.
