Guest Lecture on "Certified management accountant"

On August 16 & 17, 2017 a guest lecture was organized by the ‘Department of Accounting & Taxation’ in the A.V. Hall of The IIS University, Jaipur for B.Com and B.B.A. students.

The speaker of the session was Mr. FenilVadakken (Associate Vice President, Miles Education). He was accompanied by Mr. Girish Nair (Manager - Business development, Miles Education).

In the beginning of the session, guests were welcomed by Dr.R.K.Tailor, Head, Department of Accounting & Taxation and Dr.MontyKanodia, Additional Head, Department of Accounting & Taxation by presenting floral greetings and memento.

The session was based on helping the students to gain a better understanding of the 'Certified Management Accountant' course. The basic scope and eligibility required for CMA course were shared with the students. It was informed to the students that this course is internationally recognized and it would help them to get jobs and placements in various multinational companies. The importance and career benefits of the course were highlighted.

Mr.Fenil discussed how this course will help the students by providing them with conceptual learning rather than only imparting theoretical learning, as this degreealso focuses on the practical application of these concepts which help them in decision making later while pursuing the career after completing the respective course.

Later he interacted with the students and cleared their queries.

The session was really motivating as it guided the students in obtaining a gateway to an international career and enhance their credibility in professional field by pursuing this course.
