Overall Report of the activity

The Department of International Business and Accounting & Taxation organised a Virtual Interface with China Trade Forum and Event Management Co. Ltd. , China The interface covered interaction with the officials from China Trade Forum and an Industry Visit to Fast Holding Co. Ltd., China (A Hand Bag Manufacturing Unit) on 4th January 2022.

A total of 143 participants including students, teaching and non-teaching staff members attended the session. The visit was facilitated by Mr. Puran L Jeswani, Founder and Director China Trade Forum, China and Ms. Urmil Jeswani, Alumnae Department of International Business, IIS (Deemed to be University) along with company representatives, The visit started with the Welcome note by Dr. Roopam Kothari, Head Department of International Business. Further The students were acquainted with working of China trade forum along with visit to raw material gathering unit, manufacturing unit and finalization of the product. Furthermore, an interactive session on trade relations between china and India and ‘Future job prospective in International Business’ was taken by Mr. Puran L Jeswani, Founder and Director China Trade Forum, China and Ms. Urmil Jeswani, Alumnae Department of International Business, IIS (Deemed to be University). It was a knowledgeable and insightful experience for the participants. The visit was concluded with the vote of Thanks by Dr. Monty Kanodia, Head Department of Accounting & Taxation.
