Preparing for a Professional Qualification

A guest lecture on “Preparing for a Professional Qualification” was organized by the Department of Accounting & Taxation on 25th Aug 2017 for first year students of B Com (H) in Applied Accounting & Finance. The speaker on the occasion was CA Deepak Agarwal. Mr Agarwal is a Chartered Accountant by profession and a freelance corporate trainer. He is also associated with various Universities across India as a trainer for various professional programmes like ACCA and CIMA. His expertise is on Financial Reporting and Corporate Reporting. Mr Agarwal addressed the first year students in an interactive manner. He informed the students about the various professional qualifications and their advantage over a simple degree. He motivated students to put in their sincere efforts towards the path chosen by them and gave very valuable tips on how to work towards successfully achieving their goals. It was a valuable learning session for the students.
