International Conference on “ New Paradigms in Financial Sector: Challenges and Opportunities”

Financial Sector of a country plays a vital role in the development of an Economy. An efficient financial system not only facilitates optimum allocation of resources but also ensures reasonable availability of funds to achieve adequate economic progress.

With the object to analyze the new paradigms in financial sector, the department of Accounting and Taxation of The IIS University organized a two day International Conference on 10 and 11 of February, 2017 at International School of Informatics and Management, Jaipur

The conference aimed to bring together managers, academicians, researchers and faculty members to share experiences about transformation in the field of finance. The conference received an overwhelming response from around 230 participants from all over the country.

The conference commenced with an inaugural ceremony organized at ISIM Auditorium on 10th February, 2017 at 10.30 am.  . The chief guest on the occasion was Shri Rajpal Singh Shekhawat, Honourable Industry Minister, Govt. Of Rajasthan.

The inaugural session was followed by a few words by The Guest of Honour, Mr Mayank Goyal, Finance Officer, World Bank, Washiton D.C., United states, wherein Mr. Goyal discussed establishment of World Bank, its history, functioning and role of World Bank in the global economy. 

The Inagural session was followed by four technical sessions spread over two days and chaired by luminaries in the field of Finance.
