Objective of the Career Seminar:Creating Awarenessabout Case Study competition organized by IMA and awareness about pursuingqualification of US CMA.
Summary
Today, the global job market is changing at an alarming rate and so Global education has become a necessity for the students. Keeping this in mind, a seminar was organized by the Department of Accounting and taxation, IIS (deemed to be University) in association with IMA and ISDC, to throw light on significance of pursuing a job oriented global qualification of US CMA along with graduation. The seminar also focused on making the students aware about the Case Study Competition organized by IMA every year.
The session began with welcome of the resource persons:
• Mr. FennilVadakken (Country Head of India, IMA)
• Mr. Vikas Khosla (Zonal Head ISDC)
• MrVineetPawar (Relationship Manager, IMA)

First of all,Mr. Fenil enlightened the students with the 2023 IMA India Student Case Competition. He further pointed out that the competition gives a thrilling opportunity to the students to showcase analytical skills. He acquainted them how it gives an opportunity to devise their own cutting edge solution while analyzing real life case study.Mr. Vikas Khoslathrew light on employment and job opportunities for US CMA aspirants. He made the students aware about the preparatory classes for US CMA being offered by IIS (deemed to be University) and the scholarship being offered by IMA.
Next speaker was Mr. VineetPawar (from IMA US), who spoke about US CMA exam level and its pattern. Further he gave a brief information about the benefits the students get on becoming member of IMA.
Questions were taken up after this and were satisfactorily answered by Mr. Fenil and Mr. VineetPawar.

Outcome of the activity:Increase in awareness about Case Study competition organized by IMA. Increase in awareness about US CMA programme offered by IIS(deemed to be University) among the participants.
