Objective of the Webinar: Creating awareness about significance of pursuing a job oriented global qualification along with Graduation with specific reference to ACCA
Summary
Today, the global job market is changing at an alarming rate and so Global education has become a necessity for the 21st century learner. Keeping this in mind, a webinar was organized by IIS University in association with ACCA and ISDC, to throw light on significance of pursuing a job oriented global qualification along with graduation.
The webinar began with welcome of all the panel members by Dr Monty Kanodia, Head, Deptt of Accounting & Taxation . The panelists were:
• Mr. Rohan Rajvanshi (Business Relationship Manager North India ACCA)
• Mr. Vikas Khosla (Zonal Head ISDC)
• Dr Mahima Rai, Coordinator, ACCA program, IISU
First of all, Mr. Vikas Khosla (Zonal Head ISDC), shared a presentation on “Relevance of ACCA as a Qualification”. He informed the participants about “ACCA as a Professional Body”. He also threw light on employment and job opportunities for an ACCA.
Next speaker was Mr. Rohan Rajvanshi who spoke about “Roadmap to ACCA membership”.
Further, Dr Mahima Rai, shared a brief presentation, highlighting the advantages of pursuing ACCA programme from the IIS University. She also shared achievements of students of our University in the ACCA exams and their impressive placements.
Questions were taken up after this and were satisfactorily answered by all the panel members

Outcome of the activity: Increase in awareness about ACCA programme offered by IIS University among the participants and increase in queries for admission to this programme.
