Objective of the activity: Orient students about the ACCA Qualification

Summary/Description (max 500 words):

Department of Accounting & Taxation organized an Orientation Session for the newly admitted students of the ACCA programme (B.Com (H) Applied Accounting & Finance) on 3^rd November, 2022 in association with ISDC, the learning provider for this programme. MsVanitaMahaddalkar, Assistant Manager – Operations, ISDC and Mr Vikas Khosla, Zonal Head, Intitutional Relations, ISDC were present on the occasion. To begin with Dr Mahima Rai introduced and welcomed both the speakers from ISDC. Next, Mr Khosla gave a brief about the importance of pursuing a global qualification. This was followed by a detailed presentation on the structure of ACCA qualification, registration process, student resources, job openings etc by MsVanita. She took student’s queries in the end.It was a very informative session for all the first-year students.
