Objective of the Visit: The objective of the activity was to channel the creativity for the concepts involving taxation and finance.

Summary:

The Discipline of Accounting and Taxation of the IIS deemed to be University organized its annual poster and model making competition “SAMAVESH” : An insight into the world of accounting, taxation and finance on 3^rd March 2023 at Aditya Hall, IISU campus.

CA Srishti Chordia, CS Rachna Sharma, Dr.Roopam Kothari and Dr. Shweta Kastiyawere invited to be the judges for the competition. A short welcome ceremony was organised in their honour.

For this competition, students were required to choose any one topic from the wide range of their curriculum and prepare either a poster or model in the teams of two or four person each. The event was commenced with presenting the mementos to the judges for their welcome and proceeded with them visiting each team for their respective presentation. With the guidance of faculty members, the creative corner of students was in full motion and hence they were able to illustrate different commerce concepts in a unique and creative manner. One could see and feel the enthusiasm that the students had in their presentation.

The presence of Vice Chancellor, Dean and Advisor graced the occasion more After the judges and teachers visited each team, it was finally the time for the award ceremony. All participants were appreciated for their efforts and expressiveness.

The event was concluded by a vote thanks given by IISU students
