On successful completion of this subject, students should be able to:

  • CO 23 Understand basic statistical concepts such as statistical collection, statistical series, tabular and graphical representation of data
  • CO 24 Calculate measures of central tendency, dispersion and asymmetry, correlation and regression analysis
  • CO 25 Independently calculate basic statistical parameters viz- mean, measures of dispersion, correlation coefficient, indexes, Time series
  • CO 26 Based on the acquired knowledge to interpret the meaning of the calculated statistical indicators
  • CO 27 Apply discrete and continuous probability distributions to various business problems
