Objective: 

The course will enable students to -

  1. Understand the concept of measurement in empirical systems & its validity and reliability.
  2. Equip students on how to use statistical tools and techniques for analysis of research data. To understand the various applications of business research.
  3. Understand the types, tools and methods of research and develop the ability to analyze data gathered to draw precise and relevant conclusions and write it in the form of a Research report.

Research Methodology II (Theory)

The students will be able to –

 

CO40:Be able to distinguish between a population and a sample

CO41: Know how to conduct a statistical test of a hypothesis.

CO42: Be able to evaluate the criteria that can be used to select an appropriate statistical test to answer a research question or hypothesis.

CO43: To select an appropriate statistical test to answer a research question or hypothesis.

CO44: Be able to distinguish between the writing structure used for a quantitative study and one used for a qualitative study.
