On completion of this course, the students will be able to:
CO156 Develop critical thinking and analytical skills by examining the social advantage, procedure, and preparation of the union budget. students will gain insights into its key provisions, priorities, and allocations. They will critically analyse the budgetary decisions and their impact on different sectors and segments of society.
CO157 Develop analytical, critical thinking, and policy evaluation skills, enabling them to contribute meaningfully to discussions on public policy and provide informed suggestions for policy reforms and social development in India. CO158 Develop critical thinking skills to identify the root causes of poor financial management such as corruption, mismanagement, inefficiency, lack of transparency, and weak governance structures. and their impact on government effectiveness. CO159 Demonstrate filing income tax returns online. They will learn how to navigate through the official income tax e-filing portal and understand its features and functionalities They will learn how to gather the necessary financial information, calculate taxable income, and claim applicable deductions. They will also understand the procedure for verifying and submitting the income tax return online. CO160 Analyze the implementation process of GST. They will examine the challenges, benefits, and outcomes of introducing GST in different sectors and regions. |
