  1. Students will analyze role of money in economy and to know various other instruments used as near money.

 

  1. Students will examine different monetary standards and learn about principles of note issue.

 

  1. Students will analyze various factors affecting demand and supply of money in an economy and velocity of money.

 

  1. Students will evaluate various quantity theories of money.

 

  1. Students will examine recent monetary policy and its instruments used by the central bank
