(Theory)

CO 1:Discover the knowledge and understanding of the Constitution of Labour Law and International labour organization.

CO 2:Develop a basic overview of Law of Welfare and Working Condition.

CO 3:Construct an        understanding of Industrial Laws and also Understand the benefits of furnishing returns and maintaining registers by various establishments.

CO 4:Interpret the importance of Laws   relating to Wages and other labour codes.

CO 5:Examine Social Security Legislations operating in India.

CO 6:Contribute effectively in course – specific interaction.

Constitution and Labour Laws:

  • Fundamental rights vis-à-vis labour laws,
  • Equality before law and its application in Labour Laws, Equal pay for equal work,
  • Article 16 and reservation policies,
  • Articles 19, 21, 23 and 24 and its implications.

International Labour Organization:

  • Aims and objects, Cooperation between Governments and Employers’ and workers’ organizations in fostering social and economic progress,
  • Setting labour standards, developing policies and devising programmes to promote decent work
