Objective: 

This course will enable the students to acquire the ability to integrate and solve problems in practical scenarios on Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) for deciding the appropriate accounting treatment and formulating suitable accounting policies and gain the prowess to recognize and apply disclosure requirements specified in Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) while preparing and presenting the financial statements.

CO 1Prepare and present and analyze Financial Statements in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards and analyze Ind AS 113 and IndAS 115.

CO 2Examine Ind AS 116, Ind AS 40 and Ind AS 12 related to leases, Investment property and Taxes.

CO 3Classify and measure financial assets and liabilities and develop and understanding of share-based payments and financial instruments.

CO 4Develop an understanding of Derivatives, embedded derivatives, hedge accounting disclosures, and Recognition and de recognition of Financial Instruments (as per IndAS).

CO 5Identify and explain the key ethical issues and Analyze financial statements as per Ind AS.
