An enlightening two hour session on Business Communication was conducted by CS Surabhi Ajmera on 9 October 2018 at The IIS University, Jaipur. There were approx 88 students.

In this session some important aspects of communication were discussed. Beginning with the 7C’s of communication(Clarity, Completeness, Conciseness, Concreteness, Courtesy, Correctness, Consider), the speaker touched upon the tips for mastering command and fluency in English language, to be a good orator and also enlightened  with us the decipherment of a person’s facial expressions and gestures. Points for maintaining a correct eye contact level, a degree of distance to be maintained by a normal person from other, proper and neat attire for professionals etc. and other paramount tricks were stated to us. Along with this importance of listening skills and a proper code to be a good listener was presented.

In the end a variety of games, activities that tested students’ knowledge and other skills were organized by faculty members for the students.
