This course will enable the students to effectively present a synopsis of their dissertation, demonstrating a clear understanding of the research problem, objectives, methodology, and expected outcomes.

(Synopsis preparation)

CO85:  Develop skills in conducting a comprehensive literature review to identify and analyze existing research in the field, and identify research gaps.

CO86: Learn techniques for identifying and defining variables relevant to the research topic, ensuring clarity and precision in the research synopsis presentation

CO87: Understand the process of determining an appropriate sample size and sampling method based on the research objectives and population characteristics

CO88: Develop the ability to formulate clear and concise research objectives and hypotheses that align with the research problem and research gap identified.

CO89: Foster critical thinking skills to evaluate the relevance and significance of the research problem, variables, sample determination, objectives, and hypotheses in the context of the research synopsis presentation

CO90: Contribute effectively in course-specific interaction

Students have to select a topic of dissertation in consultation with the respective Head of the department, and prepare a synopsis. Evaluation will be done on the basis of the synopsis submitted to the respective Head of the department along with a PowerPoint presentation by the student.
